From now on,I will pay some attention on something out of the campus,something that is close to the everyday life.
I have just read an article on traditional craftwork.
How will the market of the traditional craftwork be?
Personally,I will not buy such things for these crafts for two reason:
- As a student,I do not have much spare money.(Some people think that college students are main stream who buy the expensive products,such as cell phone and computer.)
- I don’t have much space for these crafts and I do not have much time to play with these crafts
However,there must be someone to buy these crafts.Who?
- Old man.These crafts will recall the memory of the old men since these crafts are popular decades before
- Children.Kids are always full of curiosity.Lovely and nice looking crafts will attract the eyeballs of the kids.
- Girls.Girls like tiny and lovely things.However,due to the strong invasion of the Japanese and Korean TV series and Cartoons,the traditional culture is increasingly being neglected by the yong generation.
- Company.Companies need something to decorate the indoor enviroment.If the craft makers gain a famous fame,it will be available for them to make a good profit from companies since company need slurge sometimes.
Second,how to produce these crafts?
- Personally
- Family or small community
- manufactory
Crafts are usually made manully and personally by folk handicrafters.However,this mode is of low efficiency without scale economy while with flexbility.However,for a manufactory,though it may make profit through scale economy,a factory is less flexbile than persoanl handicrafter.If a company can not follow clear business mode ,big trouble will follow.
I just start to think these things.I know that my opinions are superficial.However,no one has a profound insight at the birth.I just practice to think by myself instead listening to the teachers and recite the text on the textbooks and figuring out the problems that is never relavant to my life.
I find that it is hard to think all the things by yourself.Because of the hardness,I know that I am on the right road.I will move on!
