Just now Mrs Zhu who teach us enviroment impact assessment invited one of her best friends,Mrs Zheng,who is now working as a manager at Coca Cola to give a report to us on topics that we may have interests in.
During this report,Mrs Zheng talk something about her life in campus and the experience of her career after the graduation as master in Applied Chemistry ten years ago.
The most frequent mentioned principle is that it is vital to do everything you encountered as good as you can with earnestness no matter what it is.
This is a principle mention by Yifu Lin who is one of the famous economists in China.
Zheng also attaches great importance to the personal quality which sometimes is even more important than the professional knowledge you learn at interviews.As she mentioned,since most post do not require exrremely professional knowledge,the Hrs will employ people who show their confidence and ability to be competent for the job that they will take. However,she mentioned also that,you should not neglect the professional knowledge you are learning at campus as which will play an important role in your career later.
Now I will talk about my feedback.
- Practical.People from companies like Zheng is more practical than the college students.As mentioned in the email from 土路托的世界,more practical is needed.
- Salary.The foreign companies offer higher salaries.When Mrs Zheng got her first job,her dream is to earn ￥3,000/month.However,after three years work at a foreign company dealing in beverage,her salary is several times higher than what her dream formerly.This urge me to reconsider my goals
- Character.Her personal success is mainly due to her character which is positive and aggresive.
- English.English is of vital importance in foreign companies since english is a symbol of your personal ability.
- Startup.It is better to have your own business.Even working as hard as Mrs Zheng who is a representative of the people working in foreign companies,one will not get a high position in the foreign company as the foreignors do.
- Beyond.People will be influenced by their enviroment and situations such as family and friends.One should have a clear mind seeing where the problems lie in his daily affairs,and try beyond.
